Red Long Pepper


Long Pepper from Kampot, Cambodia.

The terroir is the same of the famous Kampot Pepper, but the species is piper retrofactum, an old variety commonly known as long pepper.

This pepper is harvested when fully ripe on the plant, and it develops a very complex and fruity aroma, and a strong pungent taste.

Crush it and add it to stews, or grind it finely over the dish like you do with black pepper
